From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so, so much for your fantastic support on Saturday 12th September 2009. In total an incredible amount of € 7,742 were donated by Sponsors and participants. You can read a special thank you letter here. And the planning for 2010 is already underway:
On the 12 September 2010 the time will again be ripe - this is the day that the 4th Edition of Biking at the Großen Feldberg takes place. Under the Motto "Get on your bike, start training, and help" the Organisors are calling on all Biking enthusiasts to climb the Großer Feldberg together. And the great thing is that we in paralell will raise money for the organisation Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.
It is the objective of this Organisation to support children with cancer and their families during their difficult times. Through small excursions, holidays or simple talks the Organisation is helping the families and the young patients, doing their best to keep up their spirits. The Frankfurt Childrens Cancer Clinic also recieves support from the Organisation in the area of phyco-social and medical areas, as well as cancer research.
The entire starting fee goes 100% to the Organisation, and we hope that on the day also spectators will contribute to the good cause.
